I find lots of great things from my fellow real food bloggers throughout the week that I would love to share with you.  Normally these are the kinds of things that I would simply post on my Pickle Me Too Facebook page but Facebook has been severely limiting page’s audiences.  If I post a link, I’m lucky if 1% of my fans see it.  I’ll still be posting links of Facebook but I’m going to start a weekly blog post called “Friday Favorites”.

  • Egg and Kale Tacos (and how to fry your own taco shells) from Rhubarb and Venison, another nutty North Dakota blogger.  I usually just eat my sprouted corn tortillas raw but I’m going to try frying them next time.  She makes it look easy enough.
  • Deep Dish Apple Pie with Fennel and Ginger (GF, DF) from Delicious Obsessions. Um, yum!
  • Bruschetta Dip from Fresh Bites Daily.  Tomato, basil yumminess. This would make a great veggie dip.
  • Spicy Ancho Beef Chili from Gaps Diet Journey. I’m always on the look out for a good chili recipe.  I’ll be making this recipe this weekend when the high is supposed to be a balmy -27F.  This should keep us warm.
  • 52 Healthy Habits from Divine Health From the Inside Out. This is a great way to slowly make some changes.  Focus on just one a week.
  • How to Use Charcoal to Treat and Prevent the Stomach Flu from the Nourishing Gourmet.  The stomach flu seems to be making it’s rounds around here.   Charcoal is a good thing to keep in your medicine cabinet.
  • Organize Your Pantry with Glass Jars from GNOWFGLINS.  This would be a great way to use my jar obsession to my advantage.
  • Revitalize YOUR Health from Divine Health From the Inside Out.  Start the New Year off on the way to a healthier you.
  • My Tail of Woe pt.3 from Hybrid Rasta Mama. So my friend Jennifer is going through… well, hell.  In the midst of it, she still manages to write her story in a way that makes me smile and even laugh.  That’s one of the things I love most about Jennifer, her indomitable spirit!
